The project is expected to be awarded sometime in February.** The work for which bids are asked includes the following estimated quantities: 240 LF of modular block wall ranging from 8 feet to 14 feet in height; 250 LF of 6"-18" diameter Class III-A, HDPE, and PVC storm sewer; 2,300 SF of 4" and 6" thick concrete sidewalk; 515 SF of colored and stamped 4" & 6" thick concrete; 820 LF of concrete curb/gutter; 570 TON of 4" thick asphalt pavement; 115 SY of riprap; 800 SY of topsoil and sodding; 1450 LF of epoxy pavement markings; erosion and traffic control, grading/earthwork, electrical conduit and light pole bases, cleanup and related miscellaneous construction. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by Local wage rates. In general, the work consists of demolition of a river wall plus site grading, construction of anew river wall along the river, as well as the reconstruction of the adjacent parking lot. Construction work includes, but not limited to: erosion control, river wall removal, new river wall, dewatering and water level control, riprap, site grading, storm sewer improvements, crushed aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt pavement removal and replacement, concrete sidewalk and driveway aprons, site restoration, site lighting, pavement markings and all related structures and work.
