Renovation of an educational facility in Winnabow, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 91,279-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
The Contractor shall perform the Work in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, any plans and specifications prepared for this Project, and the description of services attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A, all of which are incorporated into and made a part of this Agreement. The Contractor agrees that any general terms and conditions that are attached to Exhibit A that are inconsistent with this Agreement shall not be applicable to this Agreement, and any such provisions shall be deemed null and void. a. The Contractor shall provide and pay for all materials, tools, equipment, and labor, and shall perform all other acts and supply all other services and things necessary to fully and properly perform and complete the Work as required by this Agreement. b. The Contractor shall perform the Work in compliance with all governmental laws and regulations, including all applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations. c. The Contractor shall, unless otherwise specified, supply and pay for all labor, transportation, materials, tools, apparatus, lights, power, fuel, sanitary facilities, and incidentals necessary for the completion of his work, and shall install, maintain and remove all equipment of the construction, other utensils or things, and be responsible for the safe, proper and lawful construction, maintenance and use of same, and shall construct in the best and most workmanlike manner, a complete job and everything incidental thereto, as shown on the plans, stated in the specifications, or reasonably implied therefrom, all in accordance with the Agreement documents. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Adding acoustical ceiling and wall panels to existing Dining Space. Work also includes the following alternates: Alternate 1 includes replacing the existing door at the Media Center. Alternates 2 & 3 will include adding acoustical ceiling and wall panels to the Corridor Space outside the Media Center. and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Location: 6370 Lake Park Dr Se, Winnabow, Nc 28479 Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor informalities and irregularities. Liquidated Damages Bidders Shall Begin Work Upon Receipt of notice to Proceed and to Complete the Work Within the Contract Time Indicated in the Contract Documents. Work is Subject to Liquidated Damages Indicated in the Contract Documents. Bidders must be properly licensed under the state laws governing their respective trades appropriate to the size of the Project.
