Demolition and site work for a residential development in Findlay, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Hancock County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce. The Hancock County Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids submitted on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in the accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any successful bidder against Hancock County or the Board of Hancock County Commissioners. A pre-bid conference is not planned for this project. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the Hancock County Commissioners, 300 South Main Street, Findlay, Ohio 45840 (mailing address) or 514 South Main Street, Findlay, Ohio 45840 (physical address) and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) consecutive calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids.
