SCOPE OF WORK A. Streets and limits are as follows: o River Rd. Limits: Jackson St. to Michigan Ave. o Broadway Limits: Gibbs St to Jackson St. B. The WORK to be done as described herein includes the furnishing of all labor and materials to construct the 2023 Pavement Paving Program for The City of Maumee as specified herein. The WORK is to be bid as a Unit Price Per Item Contract. All bids must be signed and submitted on copies or originals of the blanks in the contract documents As a reminder, all bidders must be listed as plan holders with this office. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid City of Maumee, or certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid in favor of the aforesaid City of Maumee. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by proof of authority of the official on agent signing the bond. Attention of bidders is called to all requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Prevailing Wages, various insurance requirements, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond or check, will neither be read nor considered. The City of Maumee reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder. The contractor shall be pre-qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation.
