As of January 2, 2024, project has been awarded and contract has begun. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) by the City of Harrisonburg, Virginia (City) is to solicit sealed proposals from interested Consulting Engineering Firms (Offeror) to update a citywide Stormwater Improvement Plan (SWIP). The SWIP is intended to be a long-range visionary plan that incorporates the City's stormwater needs to achieve regulatory compliance, mitigate areas of drainage concern, and conduct a public input campaign. It is important that the plan be developed in such a way that the City's stormwater needs are identified and an achievable plan for implementation is provided. This solicitation is being issued as a competitive negotiation for professional services, in accordance with Virginia Code 2.2-4302.2 A.4. DATE/TIME LAST DAY FOR QUESTIONS: September 5, 2023 on or before 12:00pm (noon) local time. Questions related to the RFP or requests for clarification shall be directed to the Procurement Manager for the City of Harrisonburg, by email (Questions@harrisonburgva.gov). Oral questions will not be permitted. The subsequent contract will be a firm-fixed price contract with an anticipated contract start date of October 1,2023. The fee(s) will remain firm through the initial contract term and will include all charges that may be incurred in fulfilling the requirements of this initial contract. There shall be no options to renew the contract.
