Renovation of a library in Cleveland, Ohio. Design plans call for the renovation of a library.
As of October 2025, the project is on hold. It is anticipated bidding will commence in the spring of 2026. A firm timeline for start of construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Cleveland Public Library ("Owner") is seeking qualifications statements for architectural and engineering services for two separate projects: 1) the replacement of the roof of its Louis Stokes Wing (the "Roofing Project") and 2) the renovation of two public restrooms on the lower level of the Louis Stokes Wing (the "Restroom Project") (collectively, the "Projects"). The Roof Project will consist of an assessment and, if necessary, replacement of the entire roof of the Louis Stokes Wing ("LSW"). The scope of work will include an assessment of the roof in its current state, recommendations for repairs, and preparing specifications for such repairs, which are anticipated to include replacing broken pavers, floor drains and flashing. The Restroom Project will consist of a complete remodel and possible reconfiguration of the two public restrooms located on the lower level of LSW. The scope of work will consist of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, interior renovation and improvements, and other items as needed.
