Construction Services for the Portland to Sandy Water Filtration Transmission System The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to obtain bids from qualified Contractors interested in providing construction services for the Transmission Main project for the City of Sandy (City) which includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of approximately 5,500 lineal feet of 16-inch diameter ductile iron water transmission main along SE Bluff Road, between the intersections of SE Proctor Road and SE Hudson Road, in a combined trench with a 3-inch diameter, PVC fiber conduit, the required pipe and conduit appurtenances. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and to reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner that it is in the public interest to do so. Bidders are solely responsible for all of their costs incurred in preparing and submitting a bid. Bidders must be qualified by the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board, hold all other necessary licenses, and be qualified in accordance with the applicable portions of ORS 279C in order to enter into a contract with the Owner for a public works project in Oregon.
