Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Port Hueneme, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
This project consists of one (1) Base CLINs and six (6) Option CLINs. The intent of the Base CLINs on this project is to repair and renew exterior wall and glazed assemblies of Building 1402 to achieve a watertight and airtight building exterior at the outer face of each assembly. The project also intends to repair corroded structural steel members which are currently encased within the masonry exterior walls. To accomplish the task, specific Owner Requirements have been developed into the following work. Major items include but are not limited to masonry wall repairs and reconstruction, structural framing repairs and renewal, metal trim, paneling, and fascia replacement (including concealed wood sheathing and blocking), exterior glazed curtain wall and storefront assembly, replacement, exterior glazed entrance vestibule assembly replacement (including door assemblies), exterior window assembly replacement, exterior metal door replacement at utility rooms, and exterior mounted light-fixture replacement. For additional waterproofing and protection, the work also includes replacement of the exterior building sealant joints, coating all masonry walls with an elastomeric coating (including all masonry screen walls at open-air enclosures associated with the building), coating of the translucent panel roof-top skylight assemblies with a mesh-reinforced elastomeric coating system, repainting all exposed structural steel members, repairing and repainting all metal louvers and door frames, repainting the underneath sides of the metal canopy coverings, repairing and repainting hallway soffits and other plaster finishes, and replacement of the existing building signage. The intent of the Optional CLINs on this project is to fully recover the existing thermoplastic roof membrane assembly on Bldg. 1402 with a new PVC roof membrane system, replace select metal roof canopy coverings, and replacing the translucent panel roof-top skylight assemblies with insulated metal roof panels and associated framing. The optional work also includes interior renovation work to include but not limited to the renewal of the interior finishes and fixtures throughout the building, including removal of abandoned wall mounted equipment and components, repairing and repainting the interior walls, replacing the floor coverings, replacing the interior doors assemblies, replacing the drop ceilings, replacing the interior lighting, replacing electrical end-line components, replacing select plumbing fixtures, replacing select casework, and the full renovation of all bathrooms in the facility. All work will be performed in accordance with all Federal, State, and Installation codes and laws; and in strict compliance with terms, conditions, and provisions contained in Attachment F.
