The Western Virginia Water Authority is requesting sealed bids for the New 1385 Pump Station - Pre-Purchase of Electrical and Plumbing Equipment. The project consists of furnishing and delivering electrical and pumping equipment and providing support services for its installation in a new potable water pump station by a separately procured Contractor. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis for various items as indicated in the Bid Form. .The equipment shall be in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications. It is not the intent of the specification to be proprietary, or to exclude any manufacturer or dealer. Any brand names used in these specifications are for comparison only. Deviations and/or alternates will be given consideration if they are considered to be suitable and acceptable for comparison. Any deviations or alternates must be submitted, in writing, with your bid. Deviations or alternates discovered after bid award or material receipt, not stated in your bid, shall be grounds for disqualification and nullification of order. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to check the Authority for any addenda that may be issued prior to the Bid Opening. Bidder must acknowledge all issued addenda on Bid Form.
