The Gadwall Stewardship Project is located within T45N-R42W, S. 14, 15, 22, 23, 26 Gogebic County, Michigan. for a combination of timber and stewardship service work items associated with the stewardship project. Timber to be cut within the project area includes an estimated 19 CCF Mixed Conifer sawtimber; 36 CCF Mixed Hardwood sawtimber; 295 CCF Red & White Pine sawtimber; 50 CCF Sugar Maple sawtimber; 1340 CCF Aspen pulpwood; 165 CCF Jack Pine pulpwood; 61 CCF Mixed Conifer pulpwood; 1102 CCF Mixed Hardwood pulpwood; 79 CCF Pine pulpwood that is marked or otherwise designated for cutting. Mandatory service work includes: 17 Brushpile Creation, 83 acres of Aspen Site Preparation. Optional service work: There are no optional stewardship projects for this contract. Offers will be evaluated on a Best Value Basis and offerors must submit a Technical Proposal describing how stewardship service work will be completed, as well as a per Unit Rate Value offer for the timber and per unit rate for completing each stewardship service work item. Offers will not be publicly opened or disclosed. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all offers.
