The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) is the regional transit authority in the Kansas City metropolitan area. KCATA is seeking qualified and experienced firms under Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to provide "On-Call" professional transit planning consultant services in the areas of transit operations, management planning, capital project planning, and planning-level engineering services as described in Section 2, "Scope of Services." The KCATA intends to award two or more Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. Services may not be required on a constant, continuous basis, but rather on an as-needed basis during the term of the contract. Individual work orders will be negotiated and issued based on the fee structure provided. The KCATA is not obligated for services until a work order is issued. The value of contracted services is anticipated to be a minimum of $500.00, and shall not exceed $250,000.00 annually. The KCATA intends to negotiate a one (1) year contract with four (4), one-year extension options, not to exceed a total contract term of five (5) years. Pre-Proposal Questions.
