Site work and paving for a road / highway in Savannah, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Asphalt resurfacing of identified city streets. Project involves mobilization, street cleaning, tack coat, traffic control, clipping shoulders, and milling for smooth joins when connecting to existing pavement. Estimated utilization of approximately 2500 tons of in place asphalt. The City of Savannah reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids and to negotiate with the awarded bidder. Bids accepted and read will remain effective for 60 calendar days after the date and time set for the opening of such bid. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the minimum amount of Five percent (5%) of the contract price is required with the bid for guaranteeing the Bidder's acceptable contract. The successful Bidder will also be required to furnish a contract performance bond and payment bond of One hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
