**As of August 25, 2023, the project has not yet been awarded. The anticipated date for award is not yet determined. Mariposa County Health and Human Services Agency is requesting proposals for an experienced vendor to provide 15 homeless shelter units that will accommodate 20 or more individuals, serving as an interim solution to help individuals or couples transition from homelessness to shelter while seeking pathways to permanent housing. Each shelter unit should accommodate 1-2 persons from the prioritized encampment site and would offer a safe, secure, and dignified interim solution. The ideal proposal will provide 15 shelter units to include capabilities for heating and cooling with no fewer than five that are fully accessible to persons with disabilities or mobility challenges. The proposal should also include costs for shipping all units and any accessories essential to the units, as well as costs for assembly. The respondent should be familiar with the County of Mariposa's zoning ordinance(s) and permit processes related to the installation of proposed shelter units. Qualified respondents will have demonstrated experience with successful, high-quality projects using small alternative shelter solutions, and in meeting timelines to achieve project goals.
