Site work for a water / sewer project in Schenectady, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sewage Grinder Pump Installation his project is regarding the installation of a commercial grinding pump at O.D. Heck Developmental Center 500 Balltown Rd. Schenectady NY12304. Install a permanent sewage grinder (Grinder to be provided by OPWDD) pump in line, to the main sanitary waste line. Disconnect, remove, replace and all electrical feed lines from power source to new grinder pump with underground rated electrical wiring to meet current electrical codes using existing underground conduit to power source. Replace existing electrical disconnect/controls with rated/appropriate disconnect/control. Vendor will be responsible for a 3rd party electrical inspection before getting paid. Replace the existing sump pump in-kind. (GFCI at sump pump connection). Vendor will install a trouble light beacon minimum 2' above ground for when the grinder pump and sump pump are in trouble. Shut off valves and connections are to be leak tested and verified by contractor. All work must comply with the NYS Building/ Plumbing/ Electrical Codes. Any variations or issues outside this scope of work is to be authorize by the DDSO Plant Superintendent for approval.
