The Falmouth Economic Development and Industrial Corporation, hereinafter called the Owner, invites sealed proposals from Contractors for the BUILDING ENCLOSURE REPAIRS AT THE FALMOUTH TRAIN STATION, Falmouth, Massachusetts, in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Gale Associates, Inc., 300 Ledgewood Place, Suite 300, Rockland, MA 02370.Bid Bonds shall be: a) in a form satisfactory to the Awarding Authority, b) with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth and, c) conditioned upon the faithful performance by the principal of the agreements contained in the bid. A Performance and Payment Bond satisfactory in form to the Awarding Authority in the amount of 100% of the contract and from a surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required of the successful bidder. Base Bid Construction Estimate Value: $150,000.00 The Contract will be awarded, if at all, within 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays and Legal Holidays excluded, after the opening of General Bids. Bidders are required to comply with the minimum wage schedule as set by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (MGL Ch. 149, Sec. 26 to 27D inclusive of all amendments) and included in the bid documents. Falmouth Economic Development and Industrial Corporation reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to reject any and all bids, or to accept proposals deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. No bidder may withdraw its bid for thirty days after the bid opening.
