The dredging shall be performed by an ocean certified hopper or ocean certified pipeline dredge. Dredging depths vary from 55 to 60 feet depending on the borrow area zone. The estimated quantity of material to be placed is approximately 1,050,000 cubic yards. Placement of dredged material shall be on the beach at Wrightsville Beach. The work will also include shaping the beach fill and providing beach pre-placement, post-placement and post construction surveys. All beach work is to be completed during the established environmental window of 16 November through 30 April. Dredging with pipeline dredges will be limited to the period of 16 November through 30 April. Hopper dredging will be limited to the period of 1 December to 31 March. This solicitation is unrestricted. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The of Construction of this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.
