Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool; for the construction of a 1,500-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.
Scope consists of a new municipal pool with pool deck area, fencing and associated pool equipment with restroom facility. Project scope consists of a new municipal pool with pool deck area, fencing, and associated pool equipment. Building structures consist of an approximately 1,500 SF restroom facility and park office. Construction consists of masonry and metal panel wall construction, wood soffit panels, cementitious paneling and membrane roof system over prefabricated wood trusses. Mechanical systems consist of conventional split system air handlers and package units. Additionally, a portion of the existing building is to be renovated to accommodate a concession area and pool equipment. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Jonesboro encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any formalities.
