As of May 13, 2025, project has been awarded to multiple contractors. Bidding timeline expected between November 2025 and January 2026. Construction could begin sometime next year and completion by 2029. The Construction Manager will be responsible for providing pre-construction services during the design phase of the project - and at the option of the City - may provide construction management services for the construction phase(s) of the project as well. Selection to provide pre-construction services does not automatically default into construction phase services and is dependent upon many factors. The shortlisted firms invited to participate in RFP are Dimeo Construction Company, Turner Construction Company , Gilbane Building Company and O & G Industries.
