Renovation of a municipal facility in Berwyn, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This Request For Proposal (RFP) establishes minimum technical requirements, terms and conditions for the installation of hardware and software to replace a 9-1-1 public safety Fire House Alerting System (System). The equipment will be used to support public safety dispatch communications for the Berwyn Police, Fire and Public Works Departments. The project is supported using 9-1-1 telephone surcharge monies regulated by Illinois statute. To be eligible to submit a proposal a Proposer must notify the primary contact, prior to August 17th, 2023, of their intent to obtain a proposal package and submit a proposal Work to be performed under this contract consists of the provision and installation of software (with hardware depending on Vendor requirements) at the Berwyn Police Department 9-1-1 Center and alerting hardware components at 3 Berwyn Fire Department firehouse locations. All communications between sites shall be through the use of Internet Protocal (IP) based transmission. IP based network pathways shall be provided by the Berwyn Emergency Telephone System Board (ETSB) The City of Berwyn Emergency Telephone System Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and waive any technicalities.
