Site work and paving for a civil project in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Mt. Vernon reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive informalities in the bidding, and hold Bids for up to 60 days for review and investigation before awarding the Contract. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidders maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond Contractor shall furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractors obligations under the Contract Documents. The Work on 3rd Street will be substantially completed on or before November 30, 2023. All work is to be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions by December 29, 2023.
