Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Vancouver, British Columbia. Design plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Develop the empty lot adjacent to 675 West 10th Ave, Vancouver. The empty lot will be developed into an open-air parking lot with appropriate infrastructure for electrical vehicles, to follow the current bylaws. TIEMLINE: Request for proposals to revisit/update the design, incorporate EV infrastructure to meet current municipal bylaws, re-engage the City for the development permit, and complete the development of the parking lot has closed and a preferred proponent has been chosen. A previous design was completed for this lot, as well as initial discussions with the City on the development permit. The City has since installed a block retaining wall along West 10th Ave and made road improvements along Ash Street and West 10th Ave. The previous design will need to be revalidated due to the change in existing site conditions and recent bylaws for electrical vehicle infrastructure. Further update once the project is approved to bid for construction. *The project's total budget is estimated at an order of magnitude of $2M inclusive of all construction costs, consultant fees, and soft costs.
