Site work and paving for a civil project in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
As of 8/31/2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project consists of furnishing and installing approximately two hundred (211) lineal feet of 18" PVC sewer pipe and two (2) precast concrete manholes; connecting storm sewer to existing combined box sewer; removal of existing pavements and restoration with Portland cement concrete (PCC) patches; removal and replacement of PCC sidewalk; removal and replacement of a brick manhole; lawn surface restoration; and related improvements. All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy. The Cit Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. The City of Quincy is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer and encourages minority group participation in the bidding and construction process. Bidders are notified that not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all workers performing work under this contract.
