Only B-General contractors listed on the Notice of Shortlist are eligible to bid on this event. Only the MEP C-20 HVAC, C-10 Electrical, C-36 Plumbing contractors listed on the Notice of Shortlist are eligible to submit a bid for this project to a B-general contractor listed on the Notice of Shortlist. For contractors of other license designations, bids must be submitted to a contractor on the Notice of Shortlist. Contractors are responsible for downloading all applicable documents included in this bid event. The estimated budget for this project without add alternates is $22,100,000.00. The timeline for completion is 550 calendar days from notice to proceed and liquidated damages are $1,500.00 per day. This Project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and Contractor and its Subcontractors are required to pay all workers employed for the performance of this Contract no less than the applicable prevailing wage rate for each such worker. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations. A bidder's bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California as a surety, made payable to the District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid must be attached to the contractor's response. Right after the bid deadline, a public bid opening will take place in the north wing of Bailey Hall room 1318 on the Santa Rosa Campus, 1501 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. After a Notice of Award is issued, the successful contractor will be required to expeditiously submit payment and performance bonds and a signed contract.
