Scope of Work – Facilities Management Janitorial and Maintenance Service. Any additional costs for areas requiring maintenance and repair or painting outside of this Scope Of Work (SOW) must be approved prior to completion by submitting a verifiable and reasonable quote for approval to the assigned HSD GSB Property Manager. If approved, approval and a Notice To Proceed will be given in writing by the HSD GSB to complete the work Janitorial services shall be performed once daily between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to include one complete thorough cleaning service per day. Occasional emergency cleanings may be required during normal scheduled hours. b. Supply all labor, supplies, equipment and other materials necessary to perform all janitorial services. This includes but not limited to mouse traps, sanitizers at existing sanitizing stations, waxes or wax-like protective coatings, cleaning agents, vacuum cleaners, scrubbing machines, buffers, dust mops, brooms and brushes. c. Furnish all soaps, light bulbs, ballasts, commode and urinal sanitary blocks, and paper goods such as toilet paper, tissue, paper towels, and toilet seat liners. Markup is not allowed on any items furnished. d. Monitor and complete all janitorial services to ensure compliance with contract provisions; develop, implement and schedule a program for janitorial maintenance keeping occupied areas free from all sources of bacterial contamination such as un-disposed garbage and leftover stagnant liquids adhering to all safe practices, including CDC COVID Guidelines. Grounds Maintenance Services shall include collection and disposal of all debris on all State property around the outside of the building, including but not limited to trash and weeds. The State reserves the right to cancel all or any part of this order without cost to the State, if the Contractor fails to meet the provisions of this order and, except as otherwise provided herein, to hold the Contractor liable for any excess cost occasioned by the State due to the Contractor's default.
