Aquatics Facilities Cleaning Services Respondent is responsible for on-site inspections of all facilities and shall provide sufficient personnel required to satisfactorily accomplish stated tasks. o Respondent shall ensure that its employees do not bring or meet personal visitors to/at the City's property at any time. This includes children, family, or acquaintances. o Respondent shall ensure that its staff is drug free. No alcohol or drug use shall be permitted on City of Fredericksburg property. Smoking is not allowed in any City facility. o Lock gates and doors to splashpad. o Some flexibility to the cleaning schedules will be needed at times due to special events or other unknown factors. o Communicate to the City any changes to the cleaning schedule. The goal is to award the contract at either the September 19, 2023, or the October 2, 2023, City Council meeting. Contract award will depend on funding approval in the Fiscal Year 2024 budget. The budget is also scheduled to be adopted at the September 19th City Council meeting. Contract would begin October 1, 2023, if awarded in September of 2023 and end on September 20, 2024. Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to the City by Monday, August 21, 2023. Responses to respondent questions will be provided by Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Late responses will not be accepted. Faxed or emailed responses will not be accepted. The City is not responsible for submissions not properly identified. The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses or to accept any qualifications deemed to be in its best interest.
