As of September 6, 2023, project was awarded to American Asphalt & Trucking LLC, awarded amount is $119,417.99. Reichelt Road Improvements The Project consists of one (1) Base Bid. The Base Bid consists of roadway improvements along Reichelt Road, from River Road to Pacific Street. The work includes milling and paving, full depth pavement repair, accessible curb ramps, reconstructed inlet type B using existing casting, repair of drainage structure, storm manhole and striping, and other improvements described within the Bid Documents. New Milford, and must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Owner and either a bid bond or a certified check drawn to the order of Borough of New Milford for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond and labor and material (payment) bond for the full amount of this project is required. All work on this contract must be completed within thirty (30) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and non-waivable. the Owner reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or state or federal administrative action is taken against the Owner which could delay or jeopardize the project from commencing.
