Renovation of a power facility in Vidalia, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The Project consists of the construction of an electrical substation located on D.A. Biglane Road in Vidalia. The major substation components are on hand, stored at the town's facilities, including anchor bolts and base plates. The substation pad is existing and fenced, along with a 20MW transformer and foundation. The control house is in-place, but not completely furnished. All footings will need to be constructed, along with the assembly and erection of the different components. All wiring, bus installation, breaker installation, grounding grid, etc. are a part of this contract. The Owner ensures that Minority Business Enterprises will be afforded equal opportunity in the contract bidding process Bidders must deposit security with their bid as provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid bonds must be written by an approved surety or insurance company. Contractors must provide evidence of holding a State License of proper classification for Electrical Work.
