Plans, Specifications, and forms of bid for the proposed work, prepared by Pennon Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, are on file in the City of Plainfield Purchasing Division, 515 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield, N.J. 07060 and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours beginning August 04, 2023. Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the contract documents and plans by the City of Plainfield Purchasing Division, upon proper notice and payment of a non-refundable copy cost of $25.00. Proposals must be made on the Standard Proposal Forms in a manner designated in the contract documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the work on the outside, addressed to Cynthia Blake, Purchasing Agent City of Plainfield Division of Purchasing, 515 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield, N.J. 07060. Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and a bid guarantee (Proposal Security) for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid except that the guarantee need not exceed $20,000.00. Prospective bidders are hereby notified that an original, one (1) copy and CD with signatures of the entire bid package must be submitted to the City. The City of Plainfield reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the City of Plainfield.
