Canning, QPA scanning@TheCanningGroup.org Project Description - Roof Replacement Scope: Roofs 1 - 4 2.1 Subcontractor is responsible to follow OSHA compliant safety measures and clean up all job- related debris daily. 2.2 Remove existing roof system down to the existing wood deck. 2.3 Replace deteriorated decking on an additional approved cost basis per 4ft x 8ft sheet of plywood. 2.4 Mechanically attach new wood deck to match existing deck. 2.5 Sweep clean of existing wood decking prior to installing the new roof assembly. 2.6 Install new Polyisocyanurate insulation 2 inch thick mechanically attached to the wood deck. 2.7 Install tapered polyisocyanurate insulation cricket at siding wall of roofs 5 & 6. 2.8 Remove siding necessary to provide an 8" minimum flashing height at height point of 2.9 tapered insulation cricket and set aside for reinstallation. 2.10 Install 1/4-inch 4 foot by 4 foot Securock adhered with Tremco Low Rise Foam Insulation Adhesive. 2.11 Install 60 mil TPA membrane adhered with TPA LV Bonding Adhesive and heat weld membrane seams. 2.12 Install 60 mil TPA membrane at all flashings fully adhered with TPA LV Bonding Adhesive and heat weld membrane seams. 2.13 Replace existing box vent with new metal vent to match existing. 2.14 Install new TPA coated metal edging around perimeter of the roof section. 2.15 Install new Kynar finish .040 aluminum 6" seamless gutter. 2.16 Install new Kynar finish .032 aluminum 3"x4" downspouts at existing locations. 2.17 Install new concrete splash blocks at grade if applicable. 2.18 Install new coupling connection where downspout meets underground drainage if applicable. 2.19 5 days of project supervision/inspection are included in the base proposal. 2.20 20-year QA warranty with inspections at years 2, 5, 10 and 15. Color to be chosen by owner. 3.4 Install 36" of GAF Stormtite Ice & Water shield at all eaves, rake edges, wall areas, and ridge area. 3.5 Install GAF synthetic underlayment over the roof surface. 3.6 Install GAF ProStart starter strip shingles at the perimeters of the roof section. 3.7 Install new GAF Timberline HDZ shingles over the entire roof area. 3.8 Install new shingle over type ridge vent at all ridge areas of roof. 3.9 Cut existing ridge as required by ridge vent manufacturer. 3.10 Install Timbertex hip and ridge shingles over ridge vent 3.11 Install new aluminum 6" gutters and 3" x 4" downspouts. Use .040 aluminum with Kynar Finish. 3.12 Install new concrete splash blocks at all downspout locations if applicable. 3.13 Supply a 30yr manufacturers shingle warranty. 3.14 Install new TPA pipe flashings around roof penetrations. 3.15 Obtain project permits. 3.15.1 Cost of permits is typically waived for public entities
