Renovation of a medical facility in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
a. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at John Colloton Pavilion, 200 Hawkins Drive, Iowa City, IA 52242. b. The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated August 8, 2023. c. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. d. General Description of Work: 1) Project consists of replacement of existing finishes and construction modifications necessary for the replacement of the CT equipment in room 3533. Includes replacement of flooring, ceiling, casework, doors, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work to support new equipment. Project will also include removal of raised floor system, replacement of finishes and construction modifications in Control Room 3558, and replacement of finishes and construction modifications in Waiting Room 3532 at location of new wall. a. Includes support for Siemens equipment removal of the existing and installation of the new equipment including but not limited to ICRA methods and maintenance, site access, and mechanical and plumbing connections. b. Infection control measures and continual monitoring and maintenance including ASHRAE 170 room pressurization requirements. UIHC - JOHN COLLOTON PAVILION L3 - INSTALL FORCE CT IN ROOM 3533
