This Safety Project is for Signal Upgrades in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Huntingdon and Somerset Counties. Signal Upgrades Will Be Made by Replacing Pedestrian Signal Heads and Some Pushbuttons in Kind to Improve Safety in 26 Different Locations. Three of These Locations Will Have the Entire Traffic Pedestal Unit Replaced at the Following Intersections: Pennsylvania Ave and Eleventh St (Tyrone, Blair County), North Center Ave and East Union St (Somerset, Somerset County), and East Main St and Plank Road (Somerset, Somerset County). These Three Locations Will Be Installed to Meet Ada Compliance for the Button to Be Within 10 of the Crosswalk. All Work or Be Completed as Indicated on the Approved Drawings Included in the Bid Package for State Route 4008, Section Pcs, in Bedford County, Bedford Borough at the Locations Indicated on the Plans in the Bid Package.
