Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the referenced project that includes the rehabilitation of approximately 4,800 lineal feet of 48-inch cast iron main. The rehabilitation includes approximately: 4,130 lineal feet slip lining with 42-inch OD steel pipe, 500 lineal feet open cut installation with 42-inch OD steel pipe and 170 lineal feet open cut installation with 48-inch ductile iron pipe. Also included in this project are distribution and transmission main reconnections and water main appurtenances (gate valves, combination air vacuum valves, drain assemblies.) The Contractor shall supply and install all materials required for the completion of this project. Contractor shall perform all paving associated with this project. This project will be wholly or partially funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund. See Appendix A in the Supplementary Specifications for clarifications and/or requirements that shall pertain to this project. One copy of the Bid Documents (includes technical specifications and a full set of plans) will be available at no charge (not including shipping/delivery charges) to Contractors that are prequalified with Louisville Water Company in the category(ies) specified for this bid. Questions or inquiries relating to this project must be submitted through the Louisville Water Company web-based portal by the date and time indicated for this bid. The Company's Project Manager's estimate for the Contract plus Company supplied materials for this Project is $5,000,001 - $10,000,000. If the Company's Project Manager's estimate for the Contract plus Company supplied materials exceeds $250,000. Bids will only be accepted from Bidders who have been pre-qualified by the Company in the pre-qualification category or categories that apply to this Bid. This Bid requires prequalification in the following categories: 16" - 60" Steel Water Mains or 20" - 48" Ductile Iron Water Mains with prequalification amounts of equal to or greater than $4,500,000. Contractors may submit bids above their prequalification limit. Contractors must list Pipe Manufacturer for all pipe on Bidders Proposal.
