The Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha, d/b/a/ Metro request quote for a Water Deluge Valve Replacement. Staffing for this project is expected to be qualified, full-time technician(s) with proper training and qualifications to replace it. Metro is seeking the request of a qualified vendor with certified technician(s) to remove, provide a replacement and install a new valve assembly with a dry pilot actuator. The current inoperable deluge valve is a "Reliable", 175 pounds four (4) inch model B. Installation services will include required parts for installation and to ensure fire safety compliance. This work consists of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required for procurement and installation, as well as all bonds, permits, and insurance necessary for this project and as required by Federal and State Laws and City Ordinances; and the general mobilization of equipment required for the completion of the work as stated in the RFQ Documents. The cost proposal shall include all permits and fees, as required, to perform the project, unless otherwise noted. The technician(s) must have the proper knowledge, skills, abilities, and training to sufficiently manage the workflow for this project. Workflow will be to replace 4" water deluge valve, create work orders, listing needed repairs, labor and estimated costs submit them for approval or modification to Metro Facilities Manager, who is the Project Manager, and carry out the approved orders to complete the work. Technician(s) are also expected to be able to relate the information from their diagnostics to the Metro Facilities Manager. Date and time of repair will be coordinated with the vendor by the Project Manager. All work will take place at 2222 Cuming St, Omaha NE, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
