Renovation of a medical facility in Hodges, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Greenwood County ("Owner") is requesting proposals from qualified General Contractors for the renovations at the Medic 5 Station located at 6502 Highway 25 N in Hodges, SC (Parcel ID # 6931-170-567). The renovation of the property will consist of a complete interior renovation of the kitchen, bathroom, day room, and bedrooms. The garage and exterior of the building will also be included in this work. The renovation portion of the project will consist of 1.) Upgrading the existing bathroom to meet ADA standards 2.) Upgrades to the existing kitchen 3.) Upgrades to the day room 4.) Upgrades and repairs to the existing garage. This request seeks to identify the qualifications of the General Contractor and cost proposal submitted that are in the best interests of Greenwood County. The Proposals submitted will be evaluated utilizing the Selection Guidelines outlined in this Request for Proposals. The County is seeking a cost- effective and highly qualified partner. Greenwood County reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. Questions concerning the RFP must be submitted in writing and directed to Anita Baylor, Procurement Officer, at abaylor@greenwoodsc.gov Responses will be made by email to all parties and by addendum on the Greenwood County website. Deadline for all questions will be Friday, September 1, 2023 at 5:00 pm (local time). All entries shall remain firm for a period of not less than ninety (90) days.
