performing chemical treatment of the raw water piping systems at various Manitoba Hydro Generating Stations in Northern Manitoba to prevent zebra mussel colonization/infestation using chemical injection and monitoring points installed by another contractor. Stations include Grand Rapids, Jenpeg, Kelsey, Keeyask, Kettle, Long Spruce and Limestone. The treatment design provided in Appendix A supports federal and provincial regulatory compliance requirements. As per provincial requirements, discharge from the station during treatment, will meet the Manitoba Water Quality Standards, Objectives and Guidelines.
