Site work for a water / sewer project in Kyle, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Technical questions related to the project should be directed to Stuart Cowell; (512) 439-4717, scowell@lja.com. All questions must be submitted no later than Friday August 29, 2023, at 5:00PM. Questions must be emailed prior to the date mentioned. The Work will include furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the complete construction of approximately 5,150 linear feet of new 16-inch water line improvements, approximately 400 linear feet on 32-inch steel casing, water appurtenances, surface repairs. Additive Alternate: This will be used for boring water line under driveway at the discretion of the Engineer/City. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided and must be accompanied by a bid security in a penal sum approximately equal to and not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The security shall be in the form of a certified check or cashier's check City of Kyle reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Kyle for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. Time of substantial completion shall be 120 calendar days
