Renovation of a municipal facility in Danville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

SCOPE It is the intent of this "RFP" is to secure Virginia licensed contractor for the Municipal Building Third Floor Renovations for Human Resources as described in the contract documents. The project location is 427 Patton St Danville, VA 24541" Time of Completion: (150) calendar days. Liquidated Damages: ($200) dollars per calendar day. Code: All work performed shall conform to the Virginia Uniform Building Code. Retainage: In making payments, there shall be retained five percent (5%) of the estimated amount until final completion and acceptance of the contract work. Award Criteria 2.1.1 The award will be made to the proposal conforming to the RFP and will be most advantageous to the city. Lump sum bid, project schedule and other factors will be considered, including but not limited to, statement of qualifications, project approach, quality, etc. The selection committee will make a recommendation of the top-ranked respondent. Danville may elect to make award without conducting formal interviews if one firm is determined to be the most qualified. 2.1.2 The City reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received. PROPOSAL DOCUMENTS City of Danville RFP 23-32-025 Bid Proposal "Municipal Building Third Floor Renovations for Human Resources" The undersigned, as Bidder, hereby declares that they and their associates are the only person or persons interested in the proposal as principal or principals; that this proposal is made without connection with any other person, company or parties making a bid or proposal; and that it is in all respects fair and in good faith without collusion or fraud. The Bidder further declares that they have examined the site of the work and informed themselves fully in regard to all conditions pertaining to the place where the work is to be done; that they have examined specifications for the work and contractual documents relative thereto, and has read all special provisions furnished prior to the bid opening; that they have satisfied themselves relative to the work to be performed, and materials and equipment to be furnished. The Bidder proposes and agrees, if this proposal is accepted, to contract with the City of Danville, Virginia in the form of contract specified, to furnish all necessary materials, equipment, machines, tools apparatus, means of transportation, and labor necessary to perform in full and complete the requirements of the specifications and contract documents, to the full and entire satisfaction of the City of Danville, Virginia with definite understanding that no money will be allowed for extra work except as set forth in the attached General Conditions and Contract Documents. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Renovation and space upfits for a portion of the 3rd floor to turn into offices for Human Resources. Upfit to includes some new walls and removing of some wall finishes to GPDW entire area, Removing existing finishes in office areas, and Light fixture replacements. Project to include new wood doors and wood trims to match historic character of the building B. Type of Contract. 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
