Bidders may inspect the applicable bidding requirements and the drawings, specifications, and other contract documents at the office of the Airport Authority, Piedmont Triad International Airport, 1000A Ted Johnson Parkway, Greensboro, North Carolina, or at the office of Lindsey Architecture, 324 South Elm St., Suite 500, Greensboro, North Carolina. Bid Security: Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, or a cashier's check, or certified check drawn on some bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, inclusive of all alternates that would increase the amount of the bid, or in lieu thereof a bidder may offer a bid bond in such amount executed by a surety company licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds, conditioned that the surety will upon demand forthwith make payment to the Owner upon such bond if the bidder fails to execute the contract in accordance with the bid bond.
