Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals for the work, complete in place. The Contractor agrees to commence the work and related services upon the receipt of a written Notice to Proceed from the City. It is the Contractor's responsibility to provide sufficient and qualified personnel, equipment and materials. The Work shall consist of, but not limited to, reconstruction of sidewalk, curb and gutter, driveway approaches at various locations throughout the City, including root pruning and clear and grub of tree roots for concrete reconstruction. Sealed Proposals for CURB & GUTTER AND SIDEWALK PROJECT - FY 22-23, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications, will be received at the office of the City Clerk, Fullerton City Hall, 303 West Commonwealth Avenue, Room 104, Fullerton, CA 92832 until 2:00 p.m. on October 10, 2023, and shortly thereafter on this same day, they will be publicly opened and read outside of City Hall. The north side of City Hall is located on the same side as the public parking lot. Staff members will be present outside of City Hall starting at 2:00 p.m. and will remain onsite until after the bid opening is completed. Questions regarding the project documents (i.e. plans, specifications, contract documents, bid forms, etc.) will be received by the Project Engineer up to five (5) working days prior to the bid opening as specified in the Invitation to Bid.
