Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The scope of work for the Project consists of approximately 20,000 square feet of new building construction and a 100-stall pre-cast panel, parking garage along with associated site amenities and improvements such as new heavy duty drive aprons, asphalt parking lots, sidewalks with curbing and landscaping. All proposals submitted shall have included in the prices submitted the cost of any business or professional licenses, permits or fees required by the City of Richmond or the Commonwealth of Virginia. If such liquidated damages exceed such payments owed by the Owner, the Contractor shall pay the Owner any remaining balance within 30 Days of notice of such. The Owner may modify these milestones, provided Final Completion occurs no later than Jan. 30, 2025 The current overall Project construction budget for the Work under this Contract is approximately $20,000,000.00 Each offeror must provide a summary evaluation of this budget amount in relation to the Plans and Specifications included with this Request for Proposals The City reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion whether to allow such a waiver.
