Davis Avenue And Lead Service Line Replacement on William and Cross Streets NOTICE TO BIDDERS is hereby given that sealed Bids are invited and will be received as set forth herein. Town of Harrison, Hudson County, New Jersey PROJECT TITLE: 2023 Watermain Improvements, 8 Inch Watermain Installation on Davis Avenue and Lead Service Line Replacement on William and Cross Streets. The project entails the following: Installation of approximately 540 LF of 6" Diameter PVC C900 Water Main on Davis Avenue, and abandonment of the existing cast iron main. The scope of services will include installation of new hydrants and domestic services on Davis Avenue as well as the replacement of Lead Service Lines on William and Cross Streets. Work shall also include roadway pavement restorations with Hot Mixed Asphalt, within the project limits. Contract Documents may be examined Monday through Friday, except legal holiday, from 9:00AM to 4:00PM, only at the office of the Town Clerk at 318 Harrison Avenue, Harrison NJ. No refunds will be made. Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. BID SUBMISSION PROCEDURES: Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form contained in the Contract Documents and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the name of project and the name and address of the Bidder. The Bid must be delivered to the Owner prior to Bid opening at the above address for submitting Bids. Bidders are required is to submit a certificate from the New Jersey Department of Labor establishing that the bid is registered pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (P.L. 1999, c.238). Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127(NJAC 17:27) (Affirmative Action), and the requirements of P.L. 1963, c. 150 (Prevailing Wage), and the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1, et.seq., and the requirements of the Contract Documents. REJECTION OF BIDS: The Town of Harrison reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of the Town of Harrison and fairness of the bidding process.
