Site work, new construction and renovation of a medical facility in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. Working plans call for the construction of a 90,125-square-foot, two-story above grade, one-story below grade medical facility; for the renovation of a 8,705-square-foot medical facility; for site work for a medical facility; and medical facility.
Expansion of the emergency department at Lakeshore General Hospital located at 160, Stillview Avenue, Pointe-Claire (Quebec) H9R 2Y2. The scope of the project includes the construction of a new three-storey building (basement, ground floor and 2nd floor) to house a mechanical and electrical room in the basement, a new emergency room with 42 stretchers, a 12-bed brief hospitalization unit and a 6-bed brief intervention unit. This work will contribute to improving practice conditions and the provision of medical services to the population served. In particular, they will enable optimal service in terms of quality, accessibility, functionality, organization of care, safety, infection prevention and control, efficiency and efficiency of services provided thanks to new work environments. TIMELINE: Working drawings are being finalized. The owner has awarded the firm Groupe Civitas to complete a 3D point cloud survey. According to the owner's scheduling a tender for the general contractor will be issued in spring/summer 2026, construction start will follow.
