This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Columbus, Ohio. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The current ventilation rate provided to the IJC is not sufficient to depressurize the structure and lower H2S levels to prevent corrosion. Corrosion of the interior components has already resulted in repairs to the existing slide gate mechanisms. Additionally, corrosion of concrete in the IJC and influent sewers is probable given the elevated levels of H2S exposure in the past 10 years. The design and construction of a new stand alone separate ventilation and odor control system for the Influent Junction Chamber (IFC) to improve odor control, provide active ventilation, prevent corrosion, and reduce foul air.
