Site work and asbestos abatement for a water / sewer project in Moss Point, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for asbestos abatement for a water / sewer project.
As of September 19, 2023, project was awarded to Bottom 2 Top Construction, LLC, awarded amount is $1,939,990.11. . The work for which proposals are invited consists of the furnishing and installing of new water lines and appurtenances to replace existing asbestos water piping. The locations of this project include Kimberly Drive, Juniper Street, and Barnett/Church Street in Moss Point, Mississippi. Proposals must be accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty consisting of a Bid Bond, Cashiers Check or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Payment and Performance Bond if the bid equals or exceeds $25,000. If the bid is less than $25,000, the City of Moss Point may elect to make a lump sum payment at the completion of the job, in which case a payment and performance bond shall not be required.
