Award: mid-late April This project includes various piping, mechanical, site, and electrical improvements to three (3) Austin Water Pump Stations located in Northwest Austin. These projects all have their own scope of work per location, described below: -Lookout Lane Pump Station Improvements: Piping modifications and installation of new electrical and process equipment at the Lookout Lane Pump Station. -Guildford Cove Pump Station Improvements: Installation of new pumping equipment and crane and electrical and SCADA improvements at the Guildford Cove Pump Station. Additionally, there will be two (2) locations on Maury's Trail and Bell Mountain where there will be new valves installed. These locations are in the same subdivision as the Guildford Cove Pump Station. -Glenlake Pump Station Bypass Improvements: Demolition of obsolete pump station and reservoir structures, and installation of bypass piping, a pressure reducing valve, and a pressure point. Performance and payment bonds when required shall be executed on forms furnished by OWNER. Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount by a solvent corporate surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and shall meet any other requirements established by law or by OWNER pursuant to applicable law. The Engineer of Record (EOR) for the Northwest Austin Booster Stations Improvements - Volume 3 - Lookout Lane Pump Station Improvements acknowledges that Encotech Engineering Consultants, Inc., acting through Rachel A.H. Maldomado, Texas Licensed Engineer Number 117500, is responsible for the above listed City of Austin Standard Specifications applicable specifically to the Lookout Lane Pump Station Improvements. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any minor informality in any Bid or solicitation procedure (a minor informality is one that does not affect the competitiveness of the Bid).
