Pre-qualification list attached, and was solicited from ifb-080-2345001-ac (pq) - pre-qualification for job order contract (joc) for asbestos removal and decontamination services. Engineer's estimate is not available for this project. Please bid accordingly. Maximum amount of contract: $500,000 County may award to more than one contractor. Bidders must hold an active "Class c-22 " license issued by california state contractor's license board. Bidders must be actively registered with the department of industrial relations. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with the requirements of labor code section 1771.1(a), pertaining to registration of contractors pursuant to section 1725.5. Bids cannot be accepted from unregistered contractors. Each bidder must submit with his bid a certified or cashier's check, cash or an original bidder's bond issued and executed by an admitted surety insurer (authorized to transact surety insurance in california), made payable to the order of the county of orange in an amount not less than 10 percent of the sum bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract if the same is awarded him (e.G., if the bidder's bond is issued through a surplus line broker, both the surplus line broker and the insurer with whom he is doing business for purposes of this project must be licensed in california to issue such bonds). In the event of failure to enter into such contract, the said amount will be forfeited to said county of orange. Awarded bidder must provide all insurance requirements within twelve (12) calendar days of recommendation of award but prior to official contract award.
