Contract Award Date: Sep 14, 2023 Contract Award Number: 12405B23P0427 Task/Delivery Order Number: Contractor Awarded Unique Entity ID: MV9XNM7LJT83 Contractor Awarded Name: RODRIGUEZ & GARLAND INC Contractor Awarded Address: San Juan, PR 00926 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $142,500.00 Q & A's Q1: In the event the lead and asbestos study results are positive, how will the removal be quantified or represented by the proposer in the bid breakdown. A1: If the studies indicate remediation is needed we will treat that as a differing condition through a mod once we know what we're looking and can make a reasonable decision on cost. Q2: Until what depth will the foundations need to be removed/demolished. A2: The foundations need to be completely moved, the holes filled in and the ground reseeded with a mixture of indigenous grass that is solely approved by Dr. Goenaga and Elkin before use. Q3: Will the demolishing of B4 facility be done around the clock until the job is completed and the debris removed. A3: We would anticipate that the building be knocked down and removed in one day unless the Contractor does not bring the correct equipment out for the job. Main objective is to get the building knocked down in one day being sure to spare the adjacent structure from any damage. The next day, if necessary, the debris can be loaded up and removed with ground restoration efforts to follow as required. Q4: The SOW mentions "collapse any sceptic systems identified by Lab personnel." When will this identification take place. How should we calculate this in our bid breakdown. A4: The Lab can provide that information to the bidders for their calculations if available and the can be toured during the to determine the locations and size as well. While we cannot require a , any bidder who chooses not to will be held to their bid, should they win, and a mod in this area will not be considered. It should not be a problem to calculate how much fill is needed to level out a septic system once the Lab provides the and rough measurements.
