Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fairview, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Concrete Rear Parking Pad at Fairview Fire Station 31 Project consist of removing the existing concrete to base level grade and hauling away. Adding additional stone base as needed and compacting to a suitable condition. Any loose stone shall be hauled away before pouring concrete, Concrete pad shall be a minimum of 5 inches thick; reinforcement within concrete section shall consist of number (#4) bars on 12-inch (12") centers, centered within the concrete thickness. and be able to withstand weights in excess of 80,000 lbs. Area to be concreted is approx., 1,056 sq, yards (88' X 36'). New concrete pad shall transition smoothly with apparatus bay floor, curbing, and asphalt parking area. Minimum required coverages are $500,000 for property damage and $1,000,000 for liability. A Certificate of insurance shall be furnished to the City at the time of contract award wherein the types and amounts of coverage are documented. The City reserves the right to determine the low bidder either on the basis of the individual costs of the services or the aggregate costs of the services. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
