Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Lyford, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 19,000-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of April 17, 2024 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded after a month.. Bid submission deadline & Bid Opening have been re-scheduled to: Thursday September 14, 2023 at 4:00 pm & 4:10 pm, respectively. Bid submission deadline & Bid Opening have been re-scheduled to: Wednesday September 6, 2023 at 4:00 pm & 4:10 pm, respectively. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Lyford or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the US Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. Compliance with all Section 3 requirements as detailed in TDA Policy issuance CDBG 2021 dated July 1, 2021 is required after Written questions may be submitted by facsimile or email, addressed to the Engineer. No questions will be accepted after 12:00 PM, August 17, 2023. All facsimile communications shall be confirmed by mailing the original correspondence to the City of Lyford Purchasing Department, if applicable.
