The Metropolitan District (MDC) is seeking the services of SBE certified, MBE or WBE plumbing and drain laying firms, for on-call professional sewer house connection renewal services in support of the District's Sewer House Connection Program. The objective of the MDC House Connection Program is to prevent sewer backups, remove groundwater discharge from the sanitary sewer system, and to prevent improper connections. Successful contractors will provide sewer connection services for District customers. The District contemplates entering into multiple contracts to provide these services on an as-needed basis. Each contract is anticipated to be issued for a period of three years, with up to two additional one-year option renewal periods. Firms interested in providing such services are requested to submit a Statement of Qualifications in accordance with Part III of this Request for Qualification (RFQ). Those firms responding to this RFQ that are deemed qualified, and agree to all terms and conditions including the schedule of fixed prices as stated in Appendix A, will be offered an Independent Contractor Agreement.
